May 15, Samantha rated it did not like it Shelves: I’d happily deal with these things for such a great book, but it was distracting. You have David Paulson. There were some reviews I read where smantha were actually stunned with how David’s mother, Ellen, acted after Richard’s death. I was so glad they found each other. Blair starts her story off with a quote that really does capture – in some ways – the essence of the story, as well as being very apt and wise.
Generational Sins deals with an experienced submissive who is unable to process emotional pain without physical pain sometimes extreme So this is not for the average BDSM reader. They are not high on the consideration scale for him and they are to be used, whether they are his wife or someone random he found on the street. Yet, I couldn’t stop reading it.
Sometimes I want to snap him and want him to act as a dominant but no!

I gsnerational myself having to reread parts after I figured out if it was present or past and from who’s point of view.
I am so glad that I finally read this story and this will definitely be marked as one of my favorite books. It isn’t until he meets and falls head over heals for Kat, that he realizes how sick and evil his father truly is. This story was nothing like I was expecting. David’s father is regarded as the pillar of the community but in reality he is an abusive sadistic father and husband. However, both storylines were so interesting that I was dying to get back to both of them.
Also, there were a good number of editing mistakes Apatite used twice is a rock.

Generational Sins went far outside my normal comfort zone so I was surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. Just as the main hero becomes educated so can you and though this subject matter is a heavy one, in opinion it is not as emotionally intense as it could be. I could tell that he was tracing the black and blue handprints with his eyes.
BDSM is not my normally preferred genre. What will happen when he meets Katlyn, a stunning submissive who is his intellectual equal, emotional savior, and so much more than a plaything?
But who knows how would I react if I was in their place, so I am not going to judge them.

This book contains very adult situations and is not suitable reading for those under the age of eighteen. The novel contains very adult content including explicit sexual scenes, BDSM including bondage, spankings, etc.
It’s just something that I hope I or not even my worse enemy would go thru. Being written in first person with bkair David and Kat’s perspective of both present and past was wonderful. And in a way, BDSM is a kind of character in this story.
